The NorTent Vern 2 is a two-person, four-season hot tent – when the wilderness calls and you want the option of an ultralight stove, this is a shelter you can rely on. Designed for two adventurers who want to fit under the same roof with all their gear and no compromises, the Vern 2 is at home on long treks and remote expeditions far away from cabins or other shelters. Its aerodynamic shape and strong guy-out points keep it steady in storm winds, while Dyneema® reinforcements ensure the structure lasts year after year. And the best part: the stove option is built in.

Space, protection, and functionality for two:
The Vern 2 offers two spacious vestibules with plenty of room for backpacks, boots, and other gear. Both vestibules are also suitable for cooking. The inner tent is sized to fit up to three 190 × 60 cm sleeping pads, meaning two people have generous room left for equipment and dressing. On hot days, the doors can be left open with only the mosquito net in place, while in cold conditions, they close tightly to preserve warmth.

Stove-ready – warmth and atmosphere:
The Vern 2 comes with a built-in stove jack, allowing the safe use of a tent stove. In moments, the stove transforms the tent into a warm and dry basecamp where cold and damp nights are no longer a problem. The firelight creates a cozy atmosphere, dries your gear, and makes the entire trip more comfortable. It’s not just about heating—it elevates the whole camping experience.

Reinforced structure and double poles:
All stress points are reinforced with heavy-duty patches that spread wind forces across a wider area. This prevents tearing and makes the structure exceptionally durable. The Vern 2 also supports double pole setup: place two poles side by side to create a much stronger frame against storms and heavy snow loads.

Ventilation and condensation control:
In a tightly sealed, two-person four-season tent, ventilation is critical. The Vern 2 features no fewer than six vents: two lower vents at each end bring in fresh air, while four above the doors let moisture escape. The upper vents are designed with small canopies, allowing the entrances to remain partially open even in rain.

Seam sealing:
The outer tent is waterproof, but as with all silnylon fabrics, the seams are not factory sealed. A one-time silicone seam sealing is recommended, making the structure completely waterproof. This solution is more durable than PU seam taping.

Pitching and maintenance:
The Vern 2 is designed for a quick setup – about 3–4 minutes once you know the routine. Silnylon is a material that reacts to temperature and humidity, so fabric tension should be monitored and adjusted throughout the day.
