MFH Luncheon Sausage is a 200 g canned sausage made in Germany from local ingredients. In texture and use, it resembles traditional canned sausage or a luncheon meat-style cold cut without aspic. It is ready to eat as it is and can be enjoyed, for example, on bread, sliced, or as part of hiking and emergency food supplies.

Unlike the smooth Sausage Spread from the same range, this product is clearly more sausage-like and is not a liver sausage-style spread. The main ingredient is pork belly, with additional pork and beef.

The unopened can can be stored dry at room temperature for up to 10 years from the date of production without refrigeration. The best-before date of this batch is 12/2036.

Long-life canned food made in Germany

MFH long-life food products are made in Germany from local ingredients. This is not dehydrated outdoor food, but a ready-to-eat meat product that can simply be opened and eaten without heating or any other preparation.

Its long shelf life at room temperature makes it a practical choice for emergency food supplies, cottages, boats, motorhomes, hiking trips and other situations where refrigeration is not available.

Sausage-like texture and seasoned flavour

The product contains 70% pork belly, 15% pork and 5% beef. The flavour is seasoned with mustard seeds, pepper, cardamom, nutmeg, garlic and ginger.

The texture is clearly meatier and more sausage-like than smooth spreads. It can be eaten as it is, sliced into portions or enjoyed with canned bread, crispbread or other outdoor food.
