MFH Sausage Spread Smooth is a smooth meat spread made in Germany from local ingredients and packed in a 200 g can. It resembles traditional liver sausage in both taste and texture. It is soft, easy to spread and ready to eat as it is, for example on bread, crispbread or canned bread.

The product is based on pork, but also contains a generous amount of pork liver as well as smaller amounts of heart and kidney. The result is therefore closer in character to traditional liver sausage or liver pâté than to ordinary canned sausage.

Compared with fresh liver sausage, one of the main advantages of this product is its exceptionally long shelf life. The unopened can can be stored dry at room temperature for up to 10 years from the date of production without refrigeration. The best-before date of this batch is 12/2036.

Long-life canned food made in Germany

MFH long-life food products are made in Germany from local ingredients. This is not dehydrated outdoor food or a meal that needs to be prepared with water, but a ready-to-eat food product that can simply be opened and eaten as it is.

The long shelf life makes this liver sausage-style spread a practical choice for emergency food supplies, cottages, boats, motorhomes, hiking trips and other situations where refrigeration may not be available. The compact 200 g metal can is also easy to store for long periods.

Smooth texture and liver sausage-style flavour

The spread contains 50% pork, 15% pork liver as well as pork heart and kidney. The flavour is finished with onion, pepper, mace, cardamom, allspice and marjoram.

The texture is finely ground, smooth and easy to spread. In use, the product is very similar to traditional liver sausage: open the can, spread it on bread and enjoy.

50% pork, 15% pork liver, 5% pork heart, 5% pork kidney, 10% drinking water, curing salt (salt, preservative: sodium nitrite), onion, pepper, mace, cardamom, allspice and marjoram.

As the unopened product does not require refrigeration, it can be stored in normal dry conditions at room temperature.
