Helikon-Tex MCDU Pants (Modern Combat Duty Uniform) were developed for users who demand more from their gear than ordinary outdoor trousers can provide. These pants are designed for situations that involve constant movement, extended periods of carrying equipment, and frequent changes in position.

The MCDU is part of Helikon-Tex's modern combat and field apparel line. The design focuses on mobility, breathability, and an efficient pocket layout.

DyNyCo provides comfort during extended use

The main fabric, DyNyCo, combines the durability of nylon, the comfort of cotton, and the flexibility of elastane.

The fabric stretches in four directions, allowing it to move naturally with the wearer and reducing restriction during active use. This becomes particularly noticeable when moving quickly, working in kneeling positions, or carrying heavy equipment throughout the day.

Enhanced mobility in critical areas

VersaStretch panels located in the waistband, crotch gusset, and behind the knees improve mobility in the areas where traditional field trousers often restrict movement.

The panels flex naturally with the body while also improving airflow in areas that tend to accumulate heat during long periods of activity.

Effective ventilation for active use

Long movements, training sessions, and physically demanding activities can quickly raise body temperature. For this reason, the MCDU Pants feature zippered thigh ventilation.

The mesh-lined ventilation openings increase airflow when needed and can be quickly closed as conditions change.

12 pockets for gear organization

The pocket layout has been designed with both mobility and compatibility with other equipment in mind.

The pocket system includes:

• 2 x reinforced front pockets
• 2 x rear pockets
• 4 x magazine pockets suitable for AR magazines or smartphones
• 4 x thigh cargo pockets
• 2 x zippered utility pockets

Equipment remains easily accessible even when wearing a battle belt, plate carrier, or backpack.

Reinforced for demanding conditions

The knee areas are reinforced with Cordura® 500D fabric, providing excellent resistance to abrasion during repeated kneeling and movement over rough terrain.

Internal compartments allow the installation of knee pads without modifying the trousers.

Adjustable leg cuffs make it easy to adapt the fit to different footwear and operating environments.
