Helikon-Tex Supertarp Small Spark Resistant is a lightweight yet exceptionally practical tarp designed for situations where shelter is needed quickly - and often exactly where a campfire is also part of the setup. The material features increased spark resistance, reducing the risk that a single spark or brief contact with a hot surface will damage the fabric. This is a significant practical advantage compared to standard tarps, which can be easily damaged when used near a campfire.

However, an important note: the material is not fireproof. Prolonged exposure to flame or heat will also damage this tarp. In practice, this means the Supertarp handles normal camp life better – but it does not replace fire-resistant fabrics.
