Helikon-Tex Micro Cord is an extremely thin and lightweight braided utility cord that offers surprising strength for its size. At only 1.18 mm in diameter, the cord has a tensile strength of up to 46 kg, and despite its 38-metre length, the entire spool weighs only about 39 grams.

Micro Cord is suitable for camping, bushcraft, hiking, preparedness, and various small repair and fastening tasks. It can be used, for example, for tying down gear, hanging small items, wrapping handles, or fishing. Thanks to its extremely small diameter, you can carry a long length of useful cord without it taking up much space in your backpack.

The cord comes neatly wound on a small reusable plastic spool, keeping all 38 metres of Micro Cord organized and ready for use. Made from nylon, the cord is resistant to UV radiation and rot, while the colors are designed to remain durable without fading or bleeding during use.
