Helikon-Tex Numbat Small is a compact 2.5-litre chest pack that keeps your essential EDC gear within easy reach without removing your backpack. It is well suited for hiking, bushcraft, fishing, hunting, travel and other situations where you want to keep your phone, map, compass, tools or other small items easily accessible.

The pack is worn on the chest with an adjustable harness system, but it can also be used as a waist pack when needed.

Compact but well organized

Numbat Small has a total capacity of 2.5 litres, with 2.1 litres in the main compartment. Inside, there is a built-in organizer, smaller pockets and a dedicated map section, helping you keep your gear in order instead of letting everything collect at the bottom of the compartment.

The front zippered pocket is ideal for a phone, power bank or another item you need frequently. A paracord limiter supports the main compartment when open, for example when reading a map.

Cordura® 500D for active use

The main material is durable Cordura® 500D nylon. A DWR treatment reduces moisture absorption and makes the pack easier to clean.

The construction also uses YKK® zippers and Woojin® components, making the pack suitable for active outdoor and field use.

Adjustable harness system

The harness can be adjusted to suit the user and different layers of clothing, while quick-release buckles make the pack easy to put on and remove. A soft mesh panel on the back improves comfort and ventilation.

The chest pack also works well together with a backpack, keeping frequently used small items accessible on the front of the body.

VIS and MOLLE/PALS compatible

Numbat Small is compatible with the Helikon-Tex Versatile Insert System, allowing the interior to be customized with different inserts.

The laser-cut MOLLE/PALS panel on the outside can be used to attach additional pouches and compatible gear. There is also an elastic cord and attachment loops on the bottom for gloves or other lightweight equipment.

A hook-and-loop panel on the front allows you to add patches or identifiers.
