This is not just a ferrocerium rod. This is a complete fire-starting system.

Exceptionally powerful ferrocerium rod
The thick Ferro Rod delivers up to 20,000 strikes and throws a powerful shower of sparks at temperatures up to 3000°C. The sparks ignite easily even in challenging conditions.

Slow and reliable tinder – works even when wet
The paraffin wax-infused jute wick burns for up to 30 minutes. It does not go out in wind and will ignite even after being submerged in water. A prepared piece of approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) is enough for extended use.

Integrated bellows (blow tube)
The aluminum body also functions as a micro blow tube. You can direct oxygen straight into the ember without putting your face into the fire.

Multi-functional striker
Made from heat-treated steel, the striker produces a strong spark. It also functions as a scraper, prying tool, wrench, and bottle opener.

Includes 550 survival cord
The included cord contains copper wire, fishing line, and waxed jute – useful for everything from repairs to fishing and field improvisation.

How to use – simple and reliable

Roughen the end of the wick
Strike sparks with the ferro rod -> ignite the wick
Move the burning wick to critical parts of the fire
If needed, blow air through the bellows
Extinguish by pulling the wick back inside the case
